LESSONS FROM THE LAST SESSION

I was in my last session of the fellowship and everyone was a bit quiet and the feelings of never going to be together with everyone and have interactive sessions like these were there but it was the last session and we had to make the most of it. As time progressed, we started to connect more and made it one of the funniest sessions we had. We had some really fun activities, disagreed with each other a lot, but only on a lighter note. Everyone was overwhelmed talking about how they received validation, acceptance and got know how to perform certain things.? Some of the fellows shared some really uplifting exquisite stories and that made us feel closer to each other. This fellowship has also been the best in terms of making everyone strong emotionally and mentally. We got to know how to layout a map to achieve goals.? All this among many other things made us feel more connected with each other.

I have developed an understanding with my fellows. I get along with them very well. There are groups that we have made for our future goals, to help each other, to guide each other. I will be using these as a medium to connect and maintain a healthy relationship with my fellows.

I have learned a lot in these past three months. I particularly did not even know how to prepare for interviews. Is a cover letter necessary for it.? What is it in the first place.? All these questions and ambiguities cleared by this fellowship. There were courses to teach you how to excel in life by pivoting. I did not have an understanding of social cues initially, I solved this from sessions and project works. Courses and implementing the knowledge from them in project works really helped me improve my critical thinking abilities. I have already started to implement these in my day-to-day life.

I will be making sure to retain everything I gained from this fellowship.
