POSITIVE REFLECTION

There was this particular workshop named “Spread Positivity Through Your Deeds” where everyone was sharing their stories of determination, persistence, and hard work. One fellow named Muhammad Sameer told his story and I was so moved by it as the guy next to me is doing his best to manage his family while I was just slacking even though I had the potential of content writing.

The story goes like this:

This is Sameer speaking:

“I study and teach students. Most of these are home tuitions and I have to manage all that while continuing my studies. I am the elder brother of my family so I had to go out and make a living all that because of my father’s illness. He had been ill for a long time and we were solely dependent on him. With him out of work, there was no cash flow.

My mother also sold his jewelry to keep the family going but it was not going to last forever. With every penny spent, we were now in a pinch. I decided to home tuition some students. It took me a while but I had developed a sense of responsibility in my neighborhood and peers of being a reliable teacher. My offers started to flood in. The noticeable thing is I did not let myself get lost in this as I had to manage my grades.

I topped in a semester and got distinctive marks in the next semester. Now that I could manage well, I also bought my mother a set of jewelry as a gift and all the sacrifices that she had on our behalf.”

After listening to Sameer’s story, I got the extra motivation and called my friend to ask him If there are any orders for content writing. He told me he will contact me If he gets because he is a guy who does out-sourcing and I have been stalling him even though I did not have much to do back then. But now, I am writing articles, sorting my priorities out, and also giving them time to work.
